The program covers such challenges as discipline methods that work, creating routines to make life easier, the best ways to childproof your home, making rules your child will follow, and ways to take care of yourself in the process.
The workshop is based on the popular book “1, 2, 3, 4 Parents!” which was written by national parenting experts who understand the challenges of being a parent.
Classes will meet from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. on three consecutive Mondays beginning on April 27 at the DuPage County Health Dept., 111 North County Farm Rd., Lower Level 1 (Wheaton). The $20 fee includes the purchase of a workbook.
